Garden Fresh Tomato Gravy

Serve over Meatloaf with a side of Golden Mashed Potatoes

      • 4 Large Tomatoes (or use 3lbs of Roma Tomatoes for a “meatier” sauce)
      • 4 C. Flour
      • 4 TBSP Butter
      • 3 C. Whole Milk


Slice the tomatoes in to 1/8 to 1/4 in slices.

Dredge tomatoes in flour.

Add Butter and Tomatoes to sauce pan on stovetop on medium heat.

Allow Tomatoes to cook stirring constantly in the butter.

Add in Milk, stir together until you have desired consistency, and flour is well mixed

Add salt and pepper to taste
